Chairman of KRK Rudolf Bauer and European representative of the British Council Ruth Sinclair-Jones talk among other things about co-operation with British regions

Today the Chairman of the Kosice Regional Council (KRK) met the new Deputy Director of the British Council Ruth Sinclair-Jones. Ruth is based in London and bears responsibility for British Council offices in ten European countries including Slovakia. With Rudolf Bauer she talked about competencies passed down from the government to the regions in line with the decentralisation of Slovak public administration. She also wanted to know how Slovakia would benefit from EU accession and possibly from co-operation between the Kosice Region and ones in the UK. Ruth Sinclair-Jones was accompanied by the Director of British Council Slovakia Jim McGrath and the Manager of the Kosice Information Centre Anna Kovacova.
