23 July 2003 Delegation of Committee for building of cities and flats buildings of Country Council of North Rhineland - Westphalian received today president of Kosice self-governing region (KSR) Rudolf Bauer. Guests, leaded by chairman of the Committee Wolfgang Roken, president of KSR in the beginning of the meeting informed about competences of public regional government and about continuation of reform of public administration. He introduced them Kosice self-governing region and its Programme of industrial and social development. We are joining to interregional cooperation and we have interest about its further development, said Rudolf Bauer. The members of delegation informed about preparation of data-base of projects, which is continuing so, that KSR will be prepared for utilization of finances from structural funds of European Union. Rudolf Bauer answered the questions of quests, which were interested in fields of regional development, territorial planning and removal of panel blocks of houses.
